Handmade matcha whisk "Chasen" made of golden bamboo with 80 stalks.
With the fine stalks, the matcha tea can be quickly and easily stirred and whipped into a foam.
The whisk is indispensable for the traditional preparation of Matcha tea.

Application

Before use, place the matcha whisk in water with the bristles facing down for about one minute to prevent the bristles from breaking while stirring.
To mix the matcha powder with the water, move the matcha whisk in a Z-shape. Don't press the whisk too deeply into the bowl, and move the whisk relatively quickly. This creates a nice matcha foam.

cleaning

After use, the whisk is cleaned exclusively with water. Do not use dish soap. To clean, briefly hold it under warm running water, smooth it out with your hands, and let it dry with the ribs facing down. Ideally, the whisk should be placed on the matcha whisk holder after washing. This allows the whisk to dry perfectly.
